Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Diego Avila stepped things up a notch to give Las Cruces the 'W'. Avila went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double. The effort also marked the most hits (two) he has had since back in April of 2024. He also hit two hits, marking his first of the season.

Avila and Las Cruces will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Valley at 12:00 p.m. on March 8th.
