Basketball Recap: Ysleta Comes Up Short

Ysleta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Mountain View Lobos, falling 40-20. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-28 back in December of 2024.

Ysleta's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Mountain View, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Fabens the next time they take the court. Mountain View will head out to face Fabens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Ysleta will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th.
