The Belle Vernon Leopards will venture away from home to face off against the Indiana Little Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Belle Vernon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Belle Vernon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Beaver a 5-0 shutout. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Leopards.

Belle Vernon got a great performance from Parker Lind as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over 6.2 innings pitched. Lind has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Alonzo Wade was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Indiana sidestepped Ambridge for a 1-0 win.

Belle Vernon's record is now 15-6. As for Indiana, their record now sits at 20-2.

Belle Vernon was able to grind out a solid victory over Indiana in their previous matchup back in May of 2016, winning 8-4. Will the Leopards repeat their success, or do the Little Indians have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
