Troy had won seven straight games and Ethan Mundt did his part to make it eight on Friday. The Warriors strolled past the El Toro Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 41-24 thanks in part to Mundt, who rushed for 134 yards and four scores, and also picked up 71 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 134 rushing yards.

Troy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Andrew Green and Noah Torosian.

Troy's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for El Toro, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-4.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Troy will square off against Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for El Toro, they will face off against Orange Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
