Football Recap: Brookville Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Brookville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Appomattox County Raiders 20-17.

Lincoln McDaniel was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 85 yards on only eight carries, and also threw for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Appomattox County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Brookville is taking a road trip to face off against Alleghany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Appomattox County, they will be playing at home against Rustburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
