Volleyball Recap: Glenbard East Takes a Loss

Glenbard East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the York Dukes. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Dukes when the teams met back in June of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Glenbard East's loss dropped their record down to 17-13. As for York, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That lines up perfectly with their 24-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenbard East will challenge West Chicago at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for York, they will venture away from home to take on Oak Park-River Forest at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
