Football Game Preview: Tuttle Tigers vs. Madill Wildcats

Tuttle has gone a perfect 3-0 against Madill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will square off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tuttle has four straight wins, Madill has 12 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Tuttle's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ardmore 51-0. Fans of Tuttle have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Shawn Rounsaville Jr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 164 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 102.2 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Cruz Campbell, who threw for 197 yards and one TD.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Tuttle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 273 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, Madill fell victim to Tecumseh and their airtight defense on Friday. The contest between the Wildcats and the Savages didn't end well, with the Wildcats falling 15-0.

Madill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Tuttle, their record is now 4-0.

Everything came up roses for Tuttle against Madill in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 61-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
