Volleyball Recap: Dawson Starts off Right with Win over Tompkins

Dawson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Tompkins Falcons by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The win didn't come easy: Tompkins scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-22, 22-25, 25-20.

Coincidentally, Dawson and Tompkins will both be playing Ridge Point the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
