After flying high against Dixon last Friday, East Duplin came back down to earth. The East Duplin Panthers took a 34-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Craven Eagles. East Duplin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West Craven, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
East Duplin will welcome Richlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for West Craven, they will square off against New Bern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
