Softball Recap: Wilson Makes It Three in a Row at Home

Wilson won the last time they faced Nogales and things went their way on Monday too. The Wilson Wildcats came out on top against the Nogales Nobles by a score of 8-5. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Wilson pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Nogales, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Wilson Wildcats take on Whittier Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wilson is facing Whittier at the right time seeing as Whittier is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Nogales, they will square off against Chaffey at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Nogales is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
