Basketball Recap: Shawnee Makes It Six in a Row at Home

After losing to Indian Lake the last time they met, Shawnee decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Shawnee Braves blew past the Indian Lake Lakers 65-43 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Shawnee pushed their record up to 13-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. As for Indian Lake, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shawnee will take on Urbana at 1:30 p.m. on February 22nd. As for Indian Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Greenon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
