Two weeks ago, St. John-Vianney took their game with ease, bagging a 60-17 win over Long Branch. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Green Wave recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Christian Brothers Academy faced St. Rose in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Christian Brothers Academy fell 45-36 to St. Rose. The Colts haven't had much luck with the Purple Roses recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Christian Brothers Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for St. John-Vianney, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.
