There's no place like home for Lamar, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against the Haltom Buffalos on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-16, 25-11.

Nylah Charles paced Lamar's offense, picking up 12 kills. Charles got some help from Mary Hoeller and her 16 assists. Charles also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hannah Mcwethy, each putting up two.

Lamar has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-17 record this season. As for Haltom, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season.
