After's a string of 3 wins, Monroe City's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell to Macon 12-26. Monroe City were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Macon apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat from the last time the teams met up.

The loss dropped Monroe City's record to 3-1. The win bumped Macon's record up to 4-0.

Monroe City will stay at home next week against Hamilton/Warsaw at 7:00 PM. As for Macon, they will face off against Moberly.
