Basketball Recap: Brashier Middle College Charter Comes Up Short

Brashier Middle College Charter lost against Landrum back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal took a hard 43-24 fall against the Landrum Cardinals. The Bengal were down 40-18 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

It was another big night for Kylie Fortner, who posted 20 points and five steals for Landrum. Fortner is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Hazel Cain, who scored four points and five steals.

Brashier Middle College Charter now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Landrum, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Brashier Middle College Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 32-26 loss against Chesnee on the 24th. Landrum has also already played their next game, a 59-35 win against Liberty on the 24th.
