Baseball Recap: Randolph Comes Up Short

After flying high against Poteet last Tuesday, Randolph came back down to earth. The Ro-Hawks came up short against the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws on Friday, falling 16-1.

Randolph now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Jourdanton, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Randolph is set to challenge their familiar foe Great Hearts Northern Oaks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jourdanton will square off against rival Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians/Squaws are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Bulldogs an eight-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
