Volleyball Recap: Desert Vista Comes Up Short

Desert Vista suffered their biggest defeat since March 21st on Tuesday. They came up short against the O'Connor Eagles, falling 3-0. The Thunder haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

While Desert Vista ultimately came up short, they really made O'Connor work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Desert Vista now has a losing record of 13-14. As for O'Connor, their win bumped their record up to 16-8-1.

Desert Vista has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Brophy College Prep on the 3rd. As for O'Connor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Mesa on the 4th.
