            Football Recap: Jenkins Warriors vs. Long County Blue Tide        
        
		
        
        
            
Jenkins barely beat Long County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors breezed past the Blue Tide to the tune of  49-13 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won five matchups by 36  points or more  so far this season.
 Demetrius Holloway Jr threw for 162 yards and three  TDs on only eight passes.   Torean Wilson was his top target, picking up 72 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
 Long County's loss  came despite strong showings from  Jason Familia and  Cortney Charles.  Familia rushed for 72 yards and one  touchdown, while  Charles rushed for 43 yards and one  TD.

The  win was  the seventh in a row for Jenkins, bringing their record up to 7-1. The  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 49.7 points over those games. As for Long County, their loss was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-3.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Jenkins will  challenge  rival Islands  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Long County is set to  take on  their familiar foe Southeast Bulloch  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
