Basketball Game Preview: Severance Silver Knights vs. Pueblo South Colts + How To Watch

The Severance Silver Knights just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Pueblo South Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Severance sitting on four straight victories and Pueblo South on three.

Severance is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Riverdale Ridge 77-46 on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Silver Knights with their most commanding win of the season.

Blake Varney had another great game (as he tends to do), shooting 4-for-7 from deep and dropping a double-double with 24 points and 12 boards. Those 24 points gave him a new career-high. Jordan Rodriguez was another key player, putting up five points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Severance smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Pueblo South took their game on Thursday with ease, bagging a 77-39 win over Village.

Severance's record is now 4-0. As for Pueblo South, their record now sits at 3-1.

Severance couldn't quite finish off Pueblo South in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 55-53. Can the Silver Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
