Baseball Recap: Asheville T Takes a Loss

Asheville T lost against Greenville H on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trailblazers came up short against the Hurricanes, falling 16-10. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dalton Galloway and Corin Davis did some serious damage despite the final result: Galloway scored two runs while going 1-for-3, while Davis scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Galloway is becoming a predictor of Asheville T's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 5-2 (and 2-7 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Joel Kissinger, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Asheville T's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Greenville H, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.

Asheville T didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-5 victory against Bethel Christian Academy on the 10th. As for Greenville H, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 21-1 win against Upstate on the 8th.
