Soccer Game Preview: Culpeper County vs. Maggie Walker

The Culpeper County Blue Devils will take on Maggie Walker at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Culpeper County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to five goals on Wednesday, they were much more limited against King George on Thursday. They fell 2-0 to the Foxes. Culpeper County haven't had much luck with King George recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Maggie Walker, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in March. They never let Hermitage get on the board and left with a 9-0 win last Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Maggie Walker considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Their offense was hitting Hermitage from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Anna Widmer led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

The victory got Maggie Walker back to even at 1-1. As for Culpeper County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
