Softball Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

Orange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the Los Amigos Lobos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Orange saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was LeAnn Velasquez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Those hits marked the first that Velasquez got this season.

Orange's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Los Amigos, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orange will face off against Estancia at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Orange is facing Estancia at the right time seeing as Estancia is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Los Amigos, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Savanna at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
