Broken Arrow faced Bixby in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Broken Arrow's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Bixby, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Broken Arrow is set to face off against their familiar foe Muskogee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bixby will challenge rival Charles Page at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
