Woodbridge has gone 8-2 against Portola recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will head out to face off against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Woodbridge came up short against University and fell 3-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Woodbridge started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-21.

Portola not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 3, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Irvine with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

While Portola won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 25-20.

Portola's win bumped their record up to 10-7-1. As for Woodbridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1.

Woodbridge couldn't quite get it done against Portola in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
