Basketball Recap: Proviso East's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

It was a good run, but Proviso East unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glenbard East Rams.

Despite the loss, Proviso East still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Pickens, who posted 21 points. The matchup was Pickens' tenth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jerry Johnson, who earned nine points and seven boards.

Proviso East's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Glenbard East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-9 record this season.
