Football Recap: Augusta Christian Falls to Greenville H in First Game of Season

Augusta Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Greenville H Hurricanes on Friday, falling 26-0.

Even if they lost, Augusta Christian's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Caleb Forbes and Noah Lichtenberg, who each picked up 0.5 sacks apiece.

Looking ahead, Augusta Christian is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Georgia Force Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Greenville H, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on West-Oak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
