Softball Recap: Baker County Wildcats vs. Fort White Indians
Baker County put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They came out on top against the Fort White Indians by a score of 3-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
The result came thanks to Grace Masterson's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Baker County's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Walker, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Walker has posted since back in March of 2024. Aubrey Worthington also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.
