Basketball Recap: Fort Calhoun Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Fort Calhoun was the 45-37 winner over Yutan when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Fort Calhoun Pioneers fell to the Yutan Chieftains 48-44. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fort Calhoun's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-4. As for Yutan, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Fort Calhoun will be home for the holidays to greet David City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Yutan, they will head out on the road to take on Conestoga at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
