Soccer Recap: Capitol Hill Comes Up Short

Capitol Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Putnam City Pirates. If Capitol Hill were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Putnam City when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Capitol Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Putnam City, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Looking ahead, Capitol Hill will head out to take on Northwest Classen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Capitol Hill will be up against Northwest Classen's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.55 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Putnam City has already played their next contest (against Putnam City North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
