Basketball Recap: Sidney Takes a Loss

Sidney fought the good fight in their overtime match against East Mills on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 61-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of East Mills. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against East Mills this season, with their most recent defeat being a 80-57 loss back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Mills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Embree, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mason Camden, who posted 17 points.

Sidney's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for East Mills, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Sidney nor East Mills have any future games scheduled.
