Soccer Recap: Tipton Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Tipton was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hamilton Heights Huskies by a score of 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Tipton's goal came courtesy of Tyler Sorensen, who's now up to nine this season.

Tipton's loss dropped their record down to 8-2-2. As for Hamilton Heights, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5-1.

Coincidentally, Tipton and Hamilton Heights will both be playing Sheridan the next time they take the pitch. The Blue Devils will host the Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Huskies will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
