Volleyball Recap: Newfound Regional's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Newfound Regional entered their tilt with Franklin on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tornadoes. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tornadoes, too.

Newfound Regional's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Franklin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Newfound Regional will square off against rival Mascenic Regional at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Franklin is set to challenge their familiar foe Inter-Lakes at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
