Fayette piles up the points against Slater

Recap: Fayette Falcons vs. Slater Wildcats

The Fayette Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Slater at home to the tune of 78-28. That looming 78-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Fayette yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fayette to victory, but perhaps none more so than Oakleigh Hill, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Hill is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Browyn Eubanks was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

Fayette has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Slater, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fayette will be home for the holidays to greet Scotland County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Scotland County is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Slater will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Smithton at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
