Basketball Game Preview: Boynton Beach Tigers vs. Wellington Wolverines

The Boynton Beach Tigers will head out to square off against the Wellington Wolverines at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Boynton Beach duked it out withCoral Springs Charter on Thursday. Boynton Beach received a blow as they fell 59-42 to Coral Springs Charter. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wellington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 46-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jupiter.

Wellington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Boynton Beach, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-7.

Boynton Beach was able to grind out a solid victory over Wellington in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, winning 50-38. The rematch might be a little tougher for Boynton Beach since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
