In what's become a running theme this season, the Napa Christian Knights gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They really took it to Rio Lindo Adventist for the full four quarters, racking up a 86-48 win on the road. The victory was nothing new for Napa Christian as they're now sitting on six straight.
Napa Christian found their leader in underclassman Breydan Worth, who shot 8-for-11 from beyond the arc and dropped a triple-double on 43 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which Worth has scored at least a third of Napa Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Noah Trammell, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Jordan Campbell and Jhordany Barcenas certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Campbell scored 15 points along with six rebounds, while Barcenas scored 12 points along with six rebounds. McKinley Ingham was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Even though they lost, Rio Lindo Adventist smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Napa Christian only pulled down four offensive rebounds.
Napa Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Napa Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Summerfield Waldorf at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Napa Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matchups -- so hopefully Summerfield Waldorf likes a good challenge. Rio Lindo Adventist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
