Football Recap: Northern York Takes a Loss

Northern York was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Mechanicsburg Wildcats. The Polar Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Mason Barnett threw for 82 yards and one TD. Tristan Wenrich was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Jaxon Tyree rushed for 56 yards.

Northern York's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mechanicsburg, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
