Softball Recap: Burgettstown Blue Devils vs. Freedom Area Bulldogs

While Burgettstown put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Freedom Area. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 15-0 win. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by ten runs or more this season.

Brooklyn Robinson made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Burgettstown let Layla Sherman and Raya Sentipal run wild. Sherman scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2, while Sentipal went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
