Basketball Recap: Heath Takes a Loss

Heath was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies and fell 54-26. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Heath's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Johnstown-Monroe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heath will venture away from home to square off against Licking Heights at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Heath is facing Licking Heights at the right time seeing as Licking Heights is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Johnstown-Monroe, they will head out to face off against Licking Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnstown-Monroe will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Licking Valley will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's contest.
