They took a 55-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. North Fork was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Grand Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played last Saturday.
North Fork's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Moss Inman, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, and Ryder Hart who scored 12 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Moreno, who scored four points along with four steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grand Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Andrew Horner, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. Porter Ostermiller was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for North Fork and nudges their season record down to 9-11. As for Grand Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.
North Fork does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grand Valley is on the road again on Friday and plays Meeker at 6:00 p.m. on February 23rd. Grand Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 244th, while Meeker is ranked 89th).
