Softball Recap: Deer Lakes Lancers vs. Lenoir City Panthers
Deer Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lenoir City Panthers, falling 16-6.
Deer Lakes saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Laney Dineff, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Dineff brought in this season. Riley Jones was another, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.
