Softball Recap: Wheelersburg Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Wheelersburg put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Portsmouth West Senators get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Wheelersburg's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.2 runs over those games. As for Portsmouth West, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
