Volleyball Recap: Jasper Comes Up Short

Jasper saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Southern Missouri RUSH by a score of 2-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Jasper sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 22-25, 25-20.

Chloe Storm paced Jasper's offense, picking up eight kills. Storm got some help from Brenlly Roberts and her nine assists. Finally, Storm was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Jasper's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Southern Missouri RUSH, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-2.

Jasper didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Greenwood on the 20th. Southern Missouri RUSH does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
