Baseball Recap: Grayson County Takes a Loss

Grayson County lost against Auburn on May 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4.

Grayson County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mac Goad, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was Goad's first of the season. Makray Goad was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Grayson County's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Auburn, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-1.

As of now, neither Grayson County nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
