It was a proper cat-fight when Johnson took on Clear Creek on Saturday. The Jaguars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Wildcats. For the Jaguars, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Clear Creek still got an impressive performance from Elissa James, who had nine digs and two aces.

Johnson is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Clear Creek, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Johnson and Clear Creek could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Jaguars will face off against Lake Travis at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (434 vs. 44). Meanwhile, Clear Creek (ranked 393rd) will meet Cypress Ranch (ranked sixth) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
