Coal Ridge had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Brush Beetdiggers with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday.

Despite the loss, Brush still got an impressive performance from Jolina Hernandez, who had seven digs and five aces.

Coal Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Brush, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

Coal Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Centauri on the 7th. Brush does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
