Page is 8-2 against Eastern Guilford since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Page Pirates are taking a road trip to challenge the Eastern Guilford Wildcats at 6:00 p.m.

Page can't be to happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. They lost 22-3 to Southwest Guilford. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Cowboys: they've now lost four in a row.

Page got a big performance out of Kennedy Jarusik, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1. Keira Mayo was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, while Eastern Guilford put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Atkins. Eastern Guilford blew past Atkins 7-0. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Camels recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kamryn Permar made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 19 over seven innings pitched. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Erin Bell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Hayley Scott, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Everything went Page's way against Eastern Guilford in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, as Page made off with an 11-4 win. Will Page repeat their success, or does Eastern Guilford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
