Samuel Fels unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Vikings on Tuesday.

Looking ahead, Samuel Fels will be playing at home against Philadelphia High School for Girls at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Samuel Fels' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Northeast, they will take on Abraham Lincoln at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
