Football Recap: Nolan West and Brycen Taylor Pace Sherman Defense + How To Watch

Sherman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. The match between the Bearcats and the McKinney North Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Bearcats falling 33-14. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 542nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 225th).

Sherman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Nolan West and Brycen Taylor. Taylor is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

Sherman's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for McKinney North, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Sherman will challenge Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats will be up against the Titans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.75 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for McKinney North, they will host Wakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
