Basketball Game Preview: Mandarin Mustangs vs. Bolles Bulldogs

Mandarin is 0-7 against Bolles since January of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Mandarin Mustangs will challenge the Bolles Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Wednesday.

Mandarin is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 73-23 win over Wolfson. The Mustangs pushed the score to 66-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolfpack had no chance of recovering from.

Keeley Mosley was a one-woman wrecking crew for Mandarin as she went 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points. The dominant performance gave Mosley a new career-high in points. Reese Holman was another key player, going 5 of 8 on her way to 11 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Bolles waltzed into their match on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Panthers 73-43. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 23 points or more this season.

Bolles' victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.2 points per game. As for Mandarin, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Mandarin suffered a grim 86-65 defeat to Bolles when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Mandarin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
