Softball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nicole Coughlin and Charlotte Inauen Lead Parsippany to Victory

While Parsippany didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Morris County Tech Devils a 10-0 shutout on Monday. The Redhawks haven't had any issues with the Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Charlotte Inauen and Nicole Coughlin did most of the damage at the plate: Inauen went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two RBI, while Coughlin scored a run while going 1-for-3. That hit was Coughlin's first of the season. Olivia Freire was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Parsippany's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Morris County Tech, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Parsippany will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Devils: the pair will be back at it again later today.
